1. Focus and direction and minimizing distractions
It would have been helpful in classes to learn focus and direction techniques as well as how to minimize distractions. More time spent developing interests as well as learning facts and figures.

In school I had a fixed mindset. Certain subjects I was not good at. Many times I defeated myself with why bother. Once I got to college, I realized I had to pass certain classes that were hard. I learned through effort we can improve in classes we have no natural ability. This is one of the main principles of Growth Mindset.
5.Reality Check 101
High school is not like the real world. Don’t remember certain basic job getting things. Don’tever being taught how to fill out an application. Or what to say on an Assesment. Wwhat are employers looking for Dependability, Teamwork, Honesty etc..
Think of students understood they are in high school 4 years and the real world potentially 40 or more years.
